Why is this free?
Marking a reading or listening answer costs us almost nothing, and a static page costs less. So there is nothing to charge for yet: every test, every level and every language is free, with no account. Graded writing and speaking is the one part that needs a human or a model behind it — when that is ready it will be a paid add-on, and everything you use today will stay free.

Submit a written task or a spoken answer and get a score against the official assessment criteria, with the specific errors marked and an explanation of each.
